Instructions for use:

1. Fill a bucket with lukewarm or warm water.
2. Add 100 grams of sea salt or table salt per liter of water into the bucket. The best is to use salt without Jodium.
3. Place the resin packed in the bag into the bucket with the saltwater.
4. Ventilate the bucket well with an air pump and air stone.
5. Within a few hours, the water in the bucket will turn a tea-like color. After 12 to 24 hours the water in the bucket is dark brown/black similar to the color of coffee. If the water turns filthy or after around 12 hours, we recommend to make a new clean mixture of saltwater to put the resin bag in. Don’t forget to ventilate it again. During this procedure foam can appear on the surface. So please take care where to position the bucket to not make a mess.
6. When the water is really dark brown/black the resin is ready and regenerated. You can rinse the resin-filled bag thoroughly with lukewarm or warm tap water and place it back in the filter or aquarium.
