What is the Fry Factory?
The Fry Factory is a new technology that imitates the movements of the mouth-brooding cichlid or the fanning of the plecos and thus moves the eggs in the same way. The automatic movements takes care that the clutch gets supplied with fresh water and oxygen, and prevents them from lying still for too long, like how the parents normally do.
The two-network system doubles the number of eggs or clutches you can incubate at the same time.
It is no longer necessary to constantly adjust the air and water quantities. The baskets has no lids, making eggs and frying very easy to access; the sieves are removable. Because of this, removing unfertilized eggs is quick and easy.
Just put your eggs in the nets, plug in your Fry Factory and turn it on. Hatching the fish eggs is child’s play with Fry Factory!
The regular, gentle movement of the nets is significantly less damaging to the eggs than the unnaturally continuous, tumbling, tossing, jumping and slamming of the eggs when kept in air- and water-powered incubators.
Material and manufacturing
The Fry Factory is electric and has two nets that operates automatically and at the same time up and down at regular, 50 second intervals to keep the eggs moving. Because of the two basket it is possible to incubate two clutches of eggs at the same time instead of one.
The integrated stainless steel screens have a fine-mesh structure so that the dirt can easily pass through. But the fry or young fish can not. The screens also ensure that more fresh and oxygenated water enters the breeding tank by means of the current in the aquarium.
Using the height-adjustable bracket you can attach the Fry Factory to the top edge of the aquarium glass, so that the two nets float on the water surface. Unlike most incubators, which, for example, are attached using suction cups that loosen over time, this incubator stays in place. Because the nets float on the surface of the water, no lids or covers are needed; the eggs and hatched fish are safe and easily accessible to the breeder.
