What is a Ziss Aqua Artemia Hatchery?

The Ziss Aqua Artemia hatchery is an incubator/breeding tank for breeding living brine shrimp/artemia. It is a perfect brine shrimp/artemia breeding set if you wanna breed artemia yourself for the feeding of (young) fish. For example to feed youngsters of Discus fish, Skalare or other fish who eat live artemia.
Because of its unique design, the ZH-2000 Artemia hatchery makes cultivating artemia eggs very easy and it ensures a high hatching percentage.

Material and manufacturing

The artemia hatchery consists a large plastic (2 liter capacity) container with handle and sturdy plastic base.
Further, there is also with it a thermometer with O-ring, a Ziss air stone with air hose for the inside of the container, a lid, an unique valve to let the artemia out of the container without any hassle and a pipette with which the artemia can be fed.

The lid can be placed on top of the large container and in the lid is a space for the supplied thermometer. In addition, the lid also has a recess where you can place a heating element. But, the heating element is not standard included.

The specially designed valve at the bottom of the container makes it really easy to remove the brine shrimp from the hatchery. In this way it is also possible to easily dose it to the amount you want or need.
