What is a hiding places?

Ceramic hiding places are products special made in different forms and sizes special for plecos, catfishes, shrimps and crayfish to hide. In addition, they can also offer shelter for eggs and babies. Those hiding places are made out of ceramic.
Hiding places can be in different shapes and sizes, depending on the animals needs in shelter and breeding.

Material and manufacturing

All our hiding places are, just like the breeding caves, handmade products, manufactured from fired clay (1090 °C). Therefore small differences in size and appearance are possible. Of course it is taken care that the outside measurements and the entrance diameter fit the ordered product.
Due to the nature of the material, the surface of the hiding place is slightly rough.
