How do I use the Eheim air400 air pump?

Filters, air lifters, air stones, breeding boxes, etc. are easy to connect to the Eheim air400 air pump.
It is important to install the air pump in a dry, moisture and dust free place. Also important is to place the air pump always above the water level. Through siphoning effect, the air pump can fill up with water. When this happens, the air pump will malfunction.

Vibration dampers in the form of rubber edges and suction cups help to ensure quiet operation of the pump. The air pump stays in place and doesn’t wander. Or you can hang it vertically, there is a special hook for this. All models are suitable for fresh and sea water.

What is included with this pump?

The air400 air pump comes complete with 2 meter air-hose, a non-return valve and one unique diffusors.
The special diffuser (air distributor), breaks the air down into very small bubbles. Due to the small size of these bubbles, the oxygen is optimally absorbed in the aquarium.
