What is the Oase BioMaster?

The Oase BioMaster is an external filter including a “HeatUp” heating element for aquariums which can be used for both, fresh- and seawater aquariums. The big advantages of this external filter is, that it has an internal EasyClean pre-filter. Further, there is space in the pump for the adjustable “HeatUp” heater. So, this makes it possible to leave the heater out of the aquarium itself, which is safer (also for the fish). But there is also less visible technology in the aquarium.

All BioMaster pumps contain an EasyClean pre-filter module. This innovative pre-filter consists of first-class filter foam that captures floating dirt particles. When the pre-filter is full of dirt particles, it is easy to dissemble for cleaning. There is no need to disassemble the entire filter, therefore saves time and aggravation.

Most important the innovative and smart design offers an easy to use and maintain filter. The closing mechanism and safety lock allow for easy disconnection of the filter, without spilling water. Both when removing the pre-filter and when disconnecting the complete filter.
After that you have made the filter clean, you can effectively draw in the water through the vent button to quickly put the filter back into use.
In addition, if the flow is too strong for the aquarium, there is the possibility to adjust the flow rate with the flow regulator.

Oase BioMaster 250 Thermo:

The Oase BioMaster 250 Thermo is an external filter for aquariums up to 250 liters including “HeatUp heating element. Fine 45ppi filter foam provides effective mechanical filtration.
The pre-filter captures all coarse particles, so that the biological filter materials do not clog and work longer. As a result, this combination of mechanical and biological filtration provides clear, healthy water for aquarium inhabitants.

BioMaster 250 Thermo is also available in a normal version, in this version the “HeatUp” heating element of 150 Watt is not included.
It is also possible to remove or exchange the heating element of the BioMaster Thermo 250 at a later time.

Also, it is possible to exchange the current filtermedia with other filtermedia. For example, the brand Oase offers different kinds of filtermedia, which will fit perfect in these filters.
However, we always recommend adding nitrate resin in the filter as part of the filter material, in addition to the normal filter media, to dissolve nitrates in the aquarium water.

Variations:

In addition, it is possible to order the BioMaster in different variations.
The types without the heater are: BioMaster 250, BioMaster 350, BioMaster 600 and BioMaster 850.
Types where the adjustable heater is included: BioMaster 250 Thermo, BioMaster 350 Thermo, BioMaster 600 Thermo and BioMaster 850 Thermo.
Since all the types, without included heater, have on this position a removable cap, heaters can always be added in those later, when needed.

All the filters are delivered as a complete set; Including filtermedia, hose, adapter, flow regulator, suction- and dischargepipe and water diffuser.
In summary, Mousse BioMaster 30ppi Orange, Mousse BioMaster 20ppi Blue, Hel-X 13 Biomedium 800 ml and BioMaster pre-filtermousse set 30ppi 4 pieces are included as standard.
