What is the Eheim ThermoControl?

The Eheim ThermoControl heater is a rod aquarium heater with as a result, it takes up only little space.
The heaters were developed years ago and the principle is still the same as before, despite the heating element being further developed. Because of these developments it is now an adjustable, ultra-modern electronic thermal device with the best available technology.
The jacket of the heater is made of special laboratory glass. This glass provides a larger heating surface. Also, the glass condenses the heat, which ensures optimal and even heat emission. Another big advantage is that the heating does not get so hot that animals suffer from it or can burn themselves due to the special glass.
In addition, it is also possible to completely submerge the heater because the rod is absolutely watertight.
Plus, it has automatic protection against dry running by means of shut-off (Thermo Safety Control).

How do I use the heater?

You can easily hang the heating element in the aquarium or biological filter. Due to the special holder and the supplied double suction cups you can easily attach the heater to the glass.
It is possible to set the heating very precisely by means of a dial on the top and so adjust it to the temperature you wish to have. Additionally, It is also possible to calibrate the element by means of the red dial on the top.
