This heat pack can be used to keep packages or boxes with fish, plants, shrimp or other animals warm during transport. Especially for shipments or transport in winter or colder temperatures in general.

The heat pack has a heating duration of 24 hours. It can reach a maximum temperature of 65 °C. But the average temperature is 50 °C.

How do I use the heat pack?

– Open the plastic package and expose the inside pack to air. After around five minutes it will give off heat. It helps to shake it a little bit, that the powder inside can react better with the oxygen.
– If you feel the pack getting warm, you can stick the him with some tape into the transport box. Another option is to tape it inside on the lid of the box.
Take care that the heat pack stays dry. So don’t put them in the water or somewhere in the box where they can get wet. Also be careful that the heat packs are not directly touching the transport bags. It can heat up the bags of the fish too much. You can put a newspaper or something else between the heat pack and the bags to avoid to warm temperatures in the plastic bag.
